Biography

Commander Sean Leydon, RAN, is Forcys’ Regional Manager for Asia Pacific. He served for more than 35 years in the Royal Australian Navy as a Weapons Electrical Engineering Officer (WEEO on guided missile frigates (FFGs) and ANZAC class frigates (FFHs). Sean was awarded the Distinguished Service Commendation whilst on operations. He also served in Capability Development Group (CDG) and Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) during shore postings.

His experience includes business development, capture management, engineering and project management, industry collaboration, sales, strategy and account management and has led programs across maritime (surface and subsurface) in ASW, combat systems and electronic warfare.
